Pregestimil is a hypoallergenic formula with MCT oil and was specially designed for babies with absorption problems. It should be used as directed by your baby's doctor. It provides the same extensively hydrolyzed (predigested) protein as Nutramigen LIPIL, but it differs from Nutramigen LIPIL in its source of fat. The fat blend in Pregestimil consists mostly of a special type of fat called MCT oil. MCT oil is medium chain triglyceride oil.
